Brian G. Becker

Managing Counsel

Brian started his career at an AmLaw 100 law firm where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, private securities transactions, and general corporate advisory services. He has since held multiple roles as in-house counsel, having the opportunity to observe and shape how the internal legal function operates within mature and emerging growth companies. He advised two vibrant technology companies in his role as sole in-house counsel and was a senior member of the legal department within a Fortune 500 company.

From his close working relationships with executive team members, he is well familiar with the differing perspectives among outside counsel, in-house counsel, and key business decision-makers. Brian’s breadth of experience has enabled him to provide clients with counsel that is uncompromising in quality while prioritizing efficiency and the elimination of value-diluting excess.

Brian is from Syracuse, New York, and still calls Upstate New York home, residing with his two children in a suburb of Rochester. He graduated early from the Syracuse University College of Law with honors and a JD/MBA dual degree. He is licensed in the State of New York.
